Deborah Bucsek is a board certified adult nurse practitioner specializing in gastroenterology and hepatic disorders. Before joining Jersey Shore Gastroenterology Associates in 2008, her extensive background in nursing included working as a GI staff nurse in various hospital based and outpatient endoscopy/surgical centers. Deborah currently maintains active provider privileges as a nurse practitioner at Atlantic Regional Medical Center, Acuity Care Center and Shore Medical Center.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Widener University, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Medicine and Dentistry. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. While pursuing her education Deborah was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and was the recipient of the Stanley S. Bergen Jr. medal for Clinical Excellence.

Deborah's unique combination of strong nursing skills enables her to comprehensively evaluate her patients by taking time to listen and understand their particular needs.
