Dr. Ognibene earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Degree from Villanova University. He attended Glassboro State College for post graduate studies and also attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Ognibene completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in gastroenterology at UMDNJ-SOM in Stratford NJ. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Dr. Ognibene has been practicing medicine in Atlantic and Cape May County for approximately twenty years. He is on staff at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center and Shore Medical Center. He is also a gastroenterology consultant at Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation. Dr. Ognibene has four convenient offices in Somers Point, Egg Harbor Township, Cape May Court House and Hammonton. He is part owner of both AtlantiCare Surgery Center in Egg Harbor Township, and Courthouse Surgery Center in Cape May Court House.

Dr. Ognibene holds memberships in several medical gastroenterology societies such as: American College of Gastroenterolgy, New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, and American College of Osteopathic Internists.
