Born in New York City, Dr. Ljubich earned a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University and graduated magnum cum laude. As an undergraduate, he was elected into membership of Phi Beta Kappa scholastic honor society. He attended New York University School of Medicine and was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Ljubich completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. As recently as 2012, Dr. Ljubich became re-certified in Gastroenterology.

Dr. Ljubich is on staff at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center and Shore Medical Center. He is also a gastroenterology consultant at Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation. He is part owner of the AtlantiCare Surgery Center in Egg Harbor Township and Cape May Court House. Dr. Ljubich has three convenient offices in Somers Point, Egg Harbor Township and Cape May Court House. He is a member of several medical and gastroenterology societies including the American College of Gastroenterology, American College of Physicians, and American Gastroenterology Association.

A resident of the South Jersey area for over 20 years, he is a painter who works primarily in oils and enjoys diverse motifs. Examples of his artwork can be viewed in the Somers Point office waiting room, and his private office in Egg Harbor Township.
